Application terms

I submit this business for review and publication in The Farmers Directory pilot. I confirm that I am authorised to represent it and that the details are accurate. Applying does not start a paid subscription or commission agreement. Buyer contact information will only be used to respond to their enquiries. I can request correction or withdrawal of the listing by contacting the team. I authorise the team to review my submitted business information and photos. I control whether my phone number and exact location are public. Any AI-assisted text is reviewed and confirmed by me before submission; certifications and product claims remain my responsibility.

Maps and regional climate context

If you publish your exact production pin, it may appear on your profile and directory maps. You can change this choice in the Producer Portal. Public coordinates may be sent to NASA POWER and Copernicus/EEA public data services to retrieve regional climate and landscape estimates; contact information and private coordinates are not sent for this purpose. Climate responses are cached. Withdrawing the public pin hides the map coordinates and climate context from public pages, including previously cached context. Loading an interactive map requests OpenStreetMap tiles and shares the visitor’s IP address and site origin with the tile provider.

What we store

Your application includes your business profile, sign-in email, password hash and a record of the exact participation terms accepted. Product submissions are reviewed before publication. Email confirmation and listing approval do not certify products or quality.

Trade enquiries and quotations

Your name, email, business details and enquiry are shared with your selected producer to respond to your request. The platform does not complete purchases or collect payments. Producers agree prices, quantities and delivery arrangements directly with buyers. A quotation link is private to anyone who has the link: share it only with its intended recipient. A quote is an offer summary, not a payment or checkout.

Producer Pro pilot

Requesting Pro does not start a paid subscription. The team can grant time-limited pilot access. The first 50 approved Founding Producer activations receive six months without charge, counted from activation. Access expires automatically; it does not renew or create a payment obligation. Any later paid subscription requires separate commercial terms.

Photos, location and AI assistance

Business contact and production details are shared with our review team. Phone numbers and exact addresses or coordinates become public only when the producer selects those options. Photos are resized, converted to JPEG and stripped of embedded metadata, then stored privately until approval. Producers confirm that they have the necessary publication rights.

Optional AI drafting sends only the selected business facts and draft text to OpenAI after an explicit request. Contact fields, precise coordinates, photos and passwords are excluded. See AI transparency. Loading the map requests tiles from OpenStreetMap and shares the browser IP and site origin with that provider. Coordinates can also be entered without loading the map.

Pilot notice: processing grounds, retention periods, recipients and full rights process must be completed before public launch. This release is intended for private staging.
